i don't care what religious background u are, but i'd like to make a thread that if u want to pray for someone you know, or some members on here who happen to have been affected or their state is unknown because of katrina, here is the place to do it. my prayers go out to all the friends i have at xavier and i hope for the best for decipha and negative effect. god bless them all.

I'm agnostic so I'm not going to "pray" for someone, but I hope they made it OK...in spite of what was most likely a very dumb move. If you're going to stay for one of these things, you better have the emergency supplies to sustain you for days...weeks...however long it may be until civilization reaches you again. I know it might be an emotional thing to leave your house, but I have to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif at these people that stay in their homes with nothing but a spare flashlight and a box of crackers for emergency supplies.

yanno.... maybe it would be better if you didnt post things like this on here... considering the people who are going to reply to this post are just going to be heartless idiots... im sorry to hear about your loss... its a big deal... and i guess nothing but amps... subwoofers.. etc. matters in this world to the majority of the people that post on here... one day, they'll grow up and realize that there really is a "real world" outside of car audio... until then... im sorry for them... and yanno... go ahead guys... think im being girlish... i dont care... thats what girls do....

So very true. Its not like this was an earthquake or tornado that just popped up in a few minutes. However, I hope that they are alright.

I live in Iowa so I'll say I know nothing about hurricanes. But I do know that staying for something this bad, that could possibly kill, and not even having a just cause for doing so... its foolish and selfish, but it no way does it mean they should die. As for respect. I'm kinda in between there. You know how many other people are there risking their own lives to save all these people who knew the storm was coming and still stayed.
