the lanzar is a much better amp. seriously.

I keep looking at the 700x2 or the 900x2 and wonder. I might just buy it and if I don't like return it. I have the hc5002 and that has crazy power. Have you ever heard one or had one?

Nice amps aren't cheap (most people going PPI or Hifonics are trying to save a buck).
I'm not dissing on saving a buck I personally would invest in a higher quality brand (both in terms of board quality and producing actual rated power). In the long run your better off spending the extra 100 dollars now

i get what your saying..

but not every body has an extra $100 .....

i can only buy what i can ...

sure i would love to get a dd amp or what ever....

so all i keep saying is if anybody is like me dont skip the ppi ba amps....

im truly happy with it.

if i was not i would not recommend it.

like kicker, i had one and did not like it.

and you here people say, well save up....... that b.s. ... for somebody like me.

if i dont buy something that money goes for bills. there no in between.

maybe others can, if you can do so.. get a better amp.

im all for better.... just wish i could get the better stuff..

hell look at my truck.. i paid $100 for it.

ya i have put tones on money into it but all small things here and there. now i have 1 nice truck.

and it has not rust.. like somebody said.

i replaced all body panels.

so its rust free just needs paint.

that will be late spring if im up to it.

That and they are not mass produced by the million. But even some products that are mass produced still hold value. Boils down to quality.

FWIW I've been running the ba2600 for at least 6 months and can't complain. It turns on when asked and does the job its asked to do. Haven't had any issues from it. And it was cheap.

I wouldn't have bought it if threads like this existed when I was looking. I couldn't find anything on it even 6 months ago, so I took a gamble on it.

edit: oh yea, forgot the cord for the remote knob was bad out of the box, And nobody would do anything about it. Wanted me to send the whole stupid thing back over a 50C cord. I ended up just making my own.

Dude I've been looking for one of those for the longest time. It seemed like as soon as it came out it proved to everyone that PPI could still put out a decent amp...then they all fell off the face of the earth. He'll even the Bk1300(or was it 1200?) was good.

My first decent amp was a PPI Phantom p1000.1, and it was a **** good amp. Never had any issues, and that thing got put through hell. A drunk buddy spilled like a gallon of pepsi on it, and there's no telling how many times my kids spilled **** on it(happened 3 times that I knew of).

Funny this was my next amp was a new sae-1200d, and that thing started giving me all sorts of problems in the first 2 months I had it. For a $500 amp I was pretty f**king disappointed, I mean f**k, it looked like a Chinese daycare/sweatshop put the thing together.

The phantom line was a dumbed down copy of the Hertz HDP. I guess Hertz got pissed
