I've finally decided on using the older U.S. made ppi amp for my highs...I have the choice of a pc4100 or a pcx 4125 ...anyone know which would be best and has best built in x overs ? i know the pc is class D and the pcx is class AB

I believe you can go active with the pcx as well, if thats an interest to ya. I know it is a well designed and quite a big amp, make sure you have enough room for it.

Both the pc4100 and the pcx4125 are class a/b. The pcx series has better xovers (hence the 'x' in pcx) and newer heatsink to dissipate heat better but u can't really go wrong with either. The only audible difference between the two u might hear is when u have them bridged.
