PPI 4200am buy or not?

My friend has this amp and he only wants $40!. Should I buy it? If I doesn't work I get my money back. Is this amp worth it? LMK ASAP thanks guys.

IMO, that's one hell of an amp. We used one in my wife's car for seven years and it was already more than a decade old. I finally sold it to upgrade. Even if it doesn't work it would be a nice collector piece if it's in decent shape.

Unfortunatly, his step knows whats up with the amp and wants 100 dollars. I'm buying it and if it doesn't work its going back. how low does it go ohm wise?

I bought it and I'm re wiring the speaker wires. Its in good shape...I hope it works

2 ohms in stereo, 4 ohms bridged.

my bad the amp i currently have is pro mos-450

I thought ti was a 4200am

A pro mos 450 has different specs....and can run 2 ohm bridged down to as low as 1 ohm bridged but gets very hot
