POWERMAT sound deadening

Has anybody ever used it? Its on ebay, its 80mils thick, which is thicker than anything i've ever used, shit, i bet it'd work pretty well? Whats your input?

thickness insnt everything, u also need to look at weight and effectiveness. at 80mils if i remember right the guy said its .40-.45lb per foot, which is most companies equivilent at 60mils. Then u also have to consider whats in it, i didnt look at the link but if i remember right its a butyl product making u safe there. tar based FTW. Last i wonder about its adhesive properties

Aside from that, all you really need it to do is add mass/weight to a panel and i imagine it will do that.

i bought 50 ft of shit, its pretty effective, you just need a heat gun to apply it or it will fall off. i would say get it, very cheap

edead v1se is reasonable on ebay, like 75shipped for 40ft, and there is also raammat which is great stuff.

to list a couple cheaper alts to SS, but SS is great stuff
