POWERMAT sound deadening

thickness insnt everything, u also need to look at weight and effectiveness. at 80mils if i remember right the guy said its .40-.45lb per foot, which is most companies equivilent at 60mils. Then u also have to consider whats in it, i didnt look at the link but if i remember right its a butyl product making u safe there. tar based FTW. Last i wonder about its adhesive properties

Aside from that, all you really need it to do is add mass/weight to a panel and i imagine it will do that.
