powering speakers

I have my speakers amped but i have my amp disconnected so no tunes.

is there anyway to run both the speaker through stock wiring and to the amp so when this happens, i have music.

im thinking if i get a HU with an internal amp you can turn off, it might work

ummm, i dont think so. if you y splice it or something then the deck will always try to be putting signal to the speakers

lol, you could do it if you put toggle switches in line with all the speaker wires...then if you disconnect the amp just flip all the switches? hehe

what do you guys do when you disconnect your amp

i removed my back battery so i have to rewire my highs amp to my front batt

Or if you wanted to get really fancy, you could have relays in line with all the speaker wires (going from your HU to the speakers), then just have 1 toggle switch active all 4 of the relays...

Not really...not if you know how to wire a relay...
