Powering alpine amp

Hey Guys!

I just got an alpine mrv-100m amp, and a type R sub in a box.

I bought a used car, and they guy said all the wires to hook up are there, so I didn't bother getting it installed.. well!

I have the RCA wires from the deck to the amp(is that where it's from?) And I know how to hook up the amp to the subs,

Where I'm confused is at, how do I get the amp power?

I see 3 connectors at the back for power, it says

Battery, Remote, Ground...

What do I hook up here? do I need to hook these up!?

The Battery wire is what gives the amp power.. hook that up to the (+) on the amp. Ground goes to the (-) and remote tells the amp when to turn on.. it just goes to the remote terminal on the amp. It might just say Rem or something like that
