probably because there is nothing else that can produce the same output in the same footprint...they are a bitch to mount, but mounted just right, they let loud for what they are.

Meh. I had one years ago and didn't care for it. Always sounded muffled... But as you stated I probably didn't mount it very well. I was in dumb kid mode back then.

Whats your budget? I have an 8 250rms/ I just ran it last week,and seemed to be just fine in my new/used 98 Honda CRV.Have mounting brackets as well/straps.I may work a deal with you on it.Sounded alot beefier in an x-cab under the seat,but still put out reasonable clean bass in the suv...sounds best sideways, approx 6in from the surface.Pm me ,or at least let us know your max budget..Thanks:santa:
