hmmm... I really love the simplicity of the PowerBass amps. They look like external hard drives or something lol

I hear that, they are spartan in appearance and thats a good thing IMO Fancy looking amps fail all too often on the performance side of things (not refering to mb court just in general) and simple amps have only their performance to rely on..

The big reason I love the ASA is my friend has one and did a 147.5 sealed at dash on TL with a 1500ASA and one AA mayhem 18 in a caravan (its exocontralto, he has vids of the run) Thats a lot of air space for that number IMO stout amps no doubt.

EXO's the man! lol I love the vid where he's thanking meades for the Mayhem. I was looking at OS amps (mostly for their simplicity and underratedness/versatility) but I keep coming back to this PB and it just looks so sexy. I'm really leanign towards that or Goindef154's Crossfire CFA202

Well Im planning on buying the DSC1500.1 which seems to be a very solid amp...ive seen the clamp test that was done on the 2000.1 and its a little bit underrated....I think you will probably get around 1600 watts or so with the DSC at 14 volts and its about 80 dollars cheaper than the powerbass so im still sticking with the DSC...for the price you seriously cannot beat it...

ASA amplifier are nice, My only issue with them is how wide they are but thats an install issue with me.

The shop I used to get all my equipment back in the day is a huge PB seller the ASA amplifiers are their top sellers.

Both DSC and ASA are solid for the price coulnt go wrong with either.

Get the discus
why? I'm trying to come up with advantages of one over the other. TO be more specific I'm looking at the ASA 400.2 and the DSC-280. The amp will drive 2 Advent AM-10s rated 50wRMS - 160wMAX each. I'm sure either will get the job done but I'm torn. They both look great and I've only heard good things about both amps. Anyone ever have problems with either series?
