1000w @ 4ohms?

I'm havin trouble finding an amp (thats a reasonable price) that can push 1000-1200 watts @ 4 ohm. Anybody know one thats in the 200-250 price range? I need it for my Mtx 9512-04. Im open to any suggestions because right now I can't really find anything.

Best bet is a used Phoenix Gold X1200.1, you can find them around 300 most of the time.

Ah.. I actually used to have one of those but it ended up fryin on me. Haven't found any online anywhere either. Any other suggestions?

Fosgate 800.2 will do about 1000rms bridged at 4ohms. You should be able to find a used one in your budget

if you had some extra money an old ppi a1200.2 would kill. and if you could find it for a decent price.

You won't find any class D mono sub amps that makes the most power at 4 ohms so you'll have to look into big stereo amplifiers and bridge them like back in the old days. The Rockford 800.2 or 1000.2 should be a good match, Soundstream makes some good amps too.

While i guess you could be correct, You can buy a 3K watt @ 1 ohm and do it as well. 1K @ 4 ohms is easy to get but in his budget is where the problem lies.

I have a couple Zed build US Acoustics USX 1000F's Could do 265 shipped (They're listed on eBay if you want to have a look) That price is for off-ebay sale...fees would kill me if I had to discount the ebay price any more.

Anyway, it's a bit of a current hog but puts out 1000 clean watts to 4 ohms bridged.
