I'm not aware of an assembly issue with the powerbass line //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. I've used and installed about 100+ powerbass amps this year and haven't had any issues. If you have more info on the assembly issue please share.
