This is the first post I have seen reguarding the Powerbass subs. Do you like it? How does it perform?? Not a lot of info. out there about them.

My XS-15D should be in today or tomarrow.

(I can't reviel prices, people would get mad..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif)

Yes I heard both subs in action and the xtreme XS-15D is insanely loud. Your car will shake itself apart. The es-12ds is loud in its own right at 600rms-1200w max.

Kinda like the little brother of the XS-15D.

Well, I just finished my box for it today. It's 4.75cu' before displacement. MattJ is comming over on Sunday with the Termlab-USB to find my res. freq. and tune the box to that. I will be putting about 1600w rms to it. (I'm compairing it to my 15" Brahma, so it has some big shoes to fill.) I'm picking up the XS-15D today.

My estimate: 146 on the Termlab...we'll see...I hope I'm conservitive.

This thread has gotten side tracked, but it keeps it at the top...and adds good press for Powerbass //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm putting 2 under my rear seats with 2 passive radiators. Only a 3kw amp. Only reason I'm selling my adire subs before even trying them. Granted...

Those pair of 12s with the right enclosure and tuned as well as powered properly should perform much better than the single 15, provided you have...
