I bridged a lanzar 268 to a pair of 15"L5's after finding out that my channel was not blown, however after bridging the amp both subs would play but when the amp was not bridged both subs would not play. When the amp was bridged my lights were dimming like crazy, but both subs together were not as loud. I now just have one sub bridged to this amp and my volts are normal. With both subs bridged it goes up and down with the music. My question is if I get a kx1200.1 will I still have this problem when running both subs? Or will the lights stop dimming being that the amp isn't trying so hard. Also I did some searching through the threads and I read about the big 3, I'm asking to also find out if I should get the alt upgrade before installing the new amp?

Specs on amp/subs? And how big is your current alt?

sounds liek you need a new alt and maybe a new battery

amp 800x2 @ 2ohms

subs 750rms max1500

no idea of size of alt tell me how to find out and I will run outside and get what you need but the make is a 2002 olds Bravada

is ur amp stable down to 1 ohm or 2 ohm mono? what is the voice coil config and how did you have them wired? you just can't go around bridging everything...

the subs are 4ohms each but wired at 2ohms and the amp is 2ohm stable

they are DVC 4 ohm? or DVC 2 ohm and wired 2 4 ohm? and if ur amp is a 2 channel and you bridge it at 2 ohms of course it's gonna cut of... most 2 channel amps are 2 ohm stable... but only in stereo
