Hey guy, i am new to this forum but not car audio. I have one jl 500/1 hooked up to 2 12w6v2's right now. Just ordered another 500/1. I now have a 4 gauge power and ground wire connected to my amp, would i be able to keep that line, connect it to a distribution block, and send two 4 gauge power out lines to it? Or would it be best to get a 0 or 2 gauge wire to the battery. Thanks in advanced.

I got one for a pretty good price, wish i would have seen urs earlier. Im thinking on just running a second 4 gauge from the battery just to save a few bucks on cables and distro

ya 2 would work, Id prefer one as well... but you should definately upgrade ur Big 3 if you havent already. The extra 500/1 is definately gonna do some strain on your system if you have no other electrical support (batcap, battery, etc.)

Ya i was thinking about doing the big 3. i was going to install the second amp and see how it goes as it is first. I just looked at my amp though and to my astonishment, my 500/1 is now running 8 guage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif , would that cause it to not get the full wattage?
