power for ed kxs?

Hey, i am thinking about getting a pair of 12" ED kxs, what do you guys think about them, and what would be a good amp to power them?

P.S. Can you get them in different colors?

Different color subs ? Don't think so.

As for amps, the Avionixx 400.2 would work nicely - 400 x 1 @ 4ohm is plenty of power. You'd need the DVC 4ohm version to wire to 4ohm.

Really, there are a ton of amps in this region of power. Maybe we can narrow it down with a budget.

Sure, either way you'd need the DVC 4ohm version to wire each one to 2ohm or both of them to 4ohm to run off of that amp.

200x2, 400x1, doesn't matter.

Better amp for $185 ... doubt it.

how does it compare against other amps, and would a visonik 500 HC be a better amp because i can get one of those for about $120 shipped
