caps are worthless.

you shouldnt have to worry about anything because looks like what you have wont put really any stress on your electrical system.

only situation in which they might be usefull is if the electrical system is up to par....then it would jus help to smooth out any voltage drops.....but its not really needed if the charging system is good

With a sufficient electrical system, caps will have absolutely no use.

I disagree, because no matter how big your alternator, or how many batteries you have, they cannot deliver the power as quickly as a cap. Think about how caps are used outside of car audio, one of the simplist uses is in camera's. Your batteres take a bit to charge up the cap, and the cap instantly discharges energy to make your flash. The key word being instantly, if batteries could do that there would be no need for caps anywhere in the world, virtually all elctronics have caps on them, because they do just that, release a little bit of energy instantly when it is needed. I dont debate that caps are almost always misused, but they do have their purposes in car audio.

interesting.....the way i see it, if u feel like paying the extra money it wouldnt hurt but isnt needed.

why are you planning to run the gain at 3/4?
