power acoustik amps any good???

I am just wandering if these power acoustik amps are any good and how close they are to there ratings. more specifically this amp

i have the a3000db its a good solid amp, it does pretty close to its rated power, but for the price they are excellent

so then when this amp says that it will put out 1800 wrms at a 1ohm load it will actaully put out almost 900 watts rms to each sub. it is going to be hooked up to 2 subs just so everyone knows.

It will probably put out around ~1700 rms, somewhere around there. But it should run any pair of subs pretty well.

if that was a question... the answer is yes. between 800-900wrms per sub if your running two subs off it wired to 1ohm.

alright thank you all for the replies. I plan on running my 2 12" kicker SB L7's off of this amo unless there is another amp that you can suggest for close the the same price and power??? that would be better. thank you all once again

it should be ok....i have a a3000db on two 12'' l7s...and they work nice...just make sure ur gain is set good

when you say set good does that mean I should keep the gains on the low side?? what is your gain set at??

The gain will vary from amp to amp, car to car.

You need to set it properly yourself, not ask others where they set theirs, same amp or not.

Read the Gain Setting Tutorial at the top of this forum, should do you some good.
