Power acoustik a3000db true power ratings?

Alright, I think im conviced this amp is good for the price...

Now to make a pruchase, lol...

The reason i liked this amp was the ratings at the load given. I havent decided if im going with 2 15" SSD's or 2 15" Q's. I know the given power at 2ohms will push the SSD's (1600watts) and the given power at 1ohm will push the Q's (2000watts). Just have to see what subs my budget can hold. Thanks for the input...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i know that 1 off a 12v walmart batt does 600w @50hz wired to 2ohm with a imp rise of

6ohms

and this same install wired @1ohm does 1400w @ 50hz imp rise was 2.2ohms so it does decent real power and you might get 2000w with a good batt wired @ .5-.75ohms

did you use proper equipment to get a true RMS reading? or did you just read the voltage and go with the ohm load? because when there's power going thnes moving, the resistance changes ALOT and just going off voltage and ohm load isnt accurate

and my a3000db on a good electrical kept up with my kx 2500.1 off a 12v electrical. both are great amps. if you can afford the kicker it's worth it, but if you dont have the money the PA will give you very close results( probly closer results than any other amp in that budget range).

you can expect at about 2kw off 12v with the PA
