Power Acoustick A1000DB

I just picked one of these up thinking it was what I needed to power my dual 2ohm kicker L5. On every website, including the PA site, it says this series of amps is 1ohm stable. I emailed PA asking what the rms at 1ohm was since it wasn't listed, and got a reply back saying the amp isnt even stable at 1ohm. So..thats $160 WASTED. I am thoroughly pissed as most of you can imagine. Now I'm stuck with 450 watts, which wont be so bad but I was hoping for about 750-800 rms. Oh well I guess, I'll just do what any other person on this site would do...get another L5 and wire it for 2 ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

And for the record...THE A1000DB IS NOT 1OHMs STABLE!

It says class features: 1ohm stable. I'm just pissed in general, not at them, I didnt put 2 and 2 together and read well enough. I'm turning lemons to lemonade on this though, getting another sub and wiring so I can actually get my 800 watts rms

is say right there n/a maybe it says that for a reason

The specs page lists that 1 Ohm stability is a common feature to that class of PA amp - but not specifically to that model.

In the chart it clearly shows rated output @ 4 Ohms to be 450w and rated output @ 2 Ohms is 800w. 1 Ohm output is N/A. Meaning Not Applicable...
