power acoustic reliability?

EDIT: i forgot to mention that the main reason for asking is that i would like an amp that has lots of juice at 4ohm mono,(less thd, with the choice for future expansion,[a3000]) for my subs, and a matching amp for speakers>(so it looks fairly clean). but on a budget.

I've had a1800db's for a year and a half now @ 1 ohm. I like them and as far as I'm concerned they are some of the best bang for your buck amps out there.

had 1 at 1ohm for over a year, they have been at .7 for about 6months now, andwill be there i hope for a while more

I have a gothic model in a car now for over a year...

much to my surprise the amp has been rock steady since

sounds like they are fairly reliable then. i think i may have to invest in them. im gonna buy amps with way more power than needed, so in the future if i want to expand my system, i can still use the same amps. thanks for the posts btw.

Never had a single problem with my A2400DB. Never got hot, never shut off. (@ 1ohm and a little less)

I'd buy one again if it came down to it.

I haven't heard anyhting bad about them from any others. Good choice for a budget amp

they are actually nice amps, dont hate on them
