It's not open to interpretation. You can't use your faith as a crutch for your actions and act as if everything will magically be ok because you believe it. Terrorists kill in the name of God, because thats the way they interpret His word. Using your (lack of) logic, this is perfectly fine. As long as they think that's what God wants, there's no harm done. Get the fu*k out of here. I'm sick to death of people making a mockery of religion to fit their own convictions. Believing in God and living in His image deals with making sacrifices and changing the way you live to adhere to the way He wants you to live. It's NOT about changing His words to adhere to the way you live. That is sacreligious, and there is absolutely no way you can defend yourself.

ok lets say a sentence read "the fox jumped over the instrument". whose to say what the instrument is. some people will interpret it as a guitar, some maybe a drum, or something else. thats what i mean. thats why there are many different branches of Christianity, cause some interpret things different ways. i dont know why people bash on my choice of religious practices and when i defend them, im the "devil worshipping pot head". i dont see anyone bashing on Judism or Islam cause they have differnet beliefs and practices.

Well his ideals are not to alter the God given body or the God given mind.

I am a southern baptist christian. I like to drink but I know God doesnt want me to. I dont use God or religion as an exuse for my habit. Either way you look at it mood and mind altering drugs are not holy. I for one confess my habit is a sin, but you on the other hand are making your sin out to be some needed ritual. That is sad that you are only using God and religion for what you want instead of living for him.

This is not a discussion about different religious sects, it's a discussion about you saying God wants us to smoke weed because an undefined plant was mentioned in the Bible.
