I was going to get one and well on my way until i got an insurance quote. 3,500 dollars a year. is that right for most of you all? Im only 17 soon to be 18 but yeah. I figured it wasnt worth it.

Quotes may be different, im in NY and i can only drive it half of the year anyways....

i didn't get insurance or a license until i was 20... but my insurance was ~400 with progressive. just get bare bones coverage, not worth it to get more. maybe theft depending on where you live.
