i found out a friends "friend" works at best buy in the magnolia section and said whenever i wanted something he would get me 50% off mostly everything. and now im thinking of selling my towers and denon and tv and upgrading lol just wish i would of known him 6 months ago..

I got to BB on occasion to listen to the Martin Logan stuff over there. Its *** but hell, my entire HT cost just a tick under a set of their electrostats...

Yah, its one of their Super-Stores. They're best stuff is a set of martin logan electrostats, vignette center and surrounds, and their dynamo sub...

They've also got stuff from Vienna Acoustice and Definitive Techology...

magnolia section has the goods. its where i bought my denon from. and even for a discount.

If you really want to hear the MLs then you need to go to a Hi-Fi shop. They only let BB/Magnolia sell the lower line... Which actually sound good but nothing compared to the high end line...

I figured as much.

But, hey, when average joe comes through the door looking to buy speakers for his home theatre...its much easier for him to choke down a set of typical floorstandings for $400 a piece than to buy the MLs at $1200 apiece when he can't hear a **** bit of difference...
