The reason I don't like it is that, without knowing the meaning behind it, it doesn't seem like art to me. I just look at tattooing as an art form you put on your body.Thank you!Hintzy is actually the 1st person to say anything negative. Most people love it, especially the pink. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I've even had 50yr old men tell me that they HATE tattoos, but would still sport mine. lol
Which is why I asked about the story behind it. I know that, without explanation, pretty much nobody is going to understand the meaning behind my, or really any, tattoos. Tattoos invite questions. But when I ask about it and you reply with "if you don't get it then you don't know me bro," I'm inclined to dismiss it. If there's a good story behind it, then let's hear it. Tattoos are a way to express yourself, and keeping quiet about the story kind of defeats the purpose to me.Absolutely, but how many REAL works of art can you just walk right up to, and say "well hey, i know EXACTLY what this is about!"?? Not many. It's not about the pretty picture on my side. Its about what it means to ME.
My tattoo may make some people smile, some frown, and some walk away in pure disgust.
My tattoo inspires, enlightens, saddens, and makes ME 100% happy all at the same time. It takes something real to do that bro. People who dont understand this tattoo, dont understand me. thats about all there is to it.
i see what you mean, but people always ask why i get my tattoo's. usually my response is something along the lines of "it's for me, not you"Which is why I asked about the story behind it. i get that all the time when i dont feel like explaining the meaning behind one.i see what you mean, but people always ask why i get my tattoo's. usually my response is something along the lines of "it's for me, not you"
i hate that every time i go to get my change back or something everyone feels they have the right to ask about my tattoo's on my hands. asking me where i got work done is one thing, asking me why or what it means is another. quite frankly it's my business, and if i feel like sharing then i'll tell you, not wait for you to ask me.
of course people who aren't really into tattoo's see that as being an asshole.
sometimes i just like to fuck with them. the majority of the time though i just don't even want to deal with it.i get that all the time when i dont feel like explaining the meaning behind one.
what is there to think about? i can't even see either of them in their entirety. i think the only solution to this is not having any clothing in the way to hinder my view of the tattoo'slet me think
yea after explaining the meaning 1000 times, it gets old, that and if i decided to tattoo something on me it'll take a little time to explain the meaning.sometimes i just like to fuck with them. the majority of the time though i just don't even want to deal with it.
it's fun making up incredibly ridiculous stories though
