So, it's Sat. night, and I'm at a light crossing a major highway. I see the light go green so I go, after I get across the intersection I look in my review mirror, and am like "why is no one else going" then I realize, that I had just run the red light. It wasn't even like it had just turned red from yellow.. I had been sitting at it for a good 2min. I just feel lucky that I didn't cause a big accident, b/c at that intersection it could have been really bad.

I almost did the same thing. I was just going along on my way to work last night, see the light, keep going, then im like "OH SHIT RED" so i had to slam my breaks to stop in time. I was trying to figure out why the red light just didnt register in my head.
