So I was on US 67 heading south towards Little Rock... it was rainy, and I was doing about 70 in the left lane. So, I see two cars coming up on me, one in each lane. So, I get in the right lane to let them go around.
So, the first car passes me, and as we're coming up to a little bridge that goes over a creek, the second car, which is also in the right lane, goes to change lanes and pass me. Once the car was about half way past me, it started hydroplaning and the nose of it started to veer to the right, and was almost perpendicular to my van. The driver, in a panic, jerked the wheel to the left and did a 180, right into the guard rail. Parts of the car shot off and pelted mine. It then proceeded to bounce off that rail and spin out behind my van, and slam into the opposite rail. It bounced off that rail and continued to spin until it stopped in the median.
So, I stopped, and the driver was fine... just a bump on the back of the head and a cut on her knuckle. Her car was JACKED, though. The whole front end was smashed. The front bumper was actually lodged in one of the rails. I had to wait for at least an hour to fill out the police report.
Pics as soon as my friend gets it off his phone.
