You could have refunded and then filed your claim. No one in Texas was here to rip you off. You made the rules. You gave 4 options and then chose to receive the HU back.
You failed to describe so the amp isnt UPS fault. I even have teh guy who sold it to you verrify that they amp was in that condition. He even said it was that way from REQ.
You failed to wrap an expensive "Mint" as you say headunit with more then a layer of bubble wrap around the sides...not even the face where the faceplate mounts. Your poor packaging really wasnt UPS fault. Even with that said, you could have refunded and filed the claim same day. Would have been solved and it would have added to your rep of a fast person to resolve issues if there is one.
