I mean what I can tell from my POS laptop speakers it sounds good compared to the original. I've got to ask: why that song? There is some pretty good detail in it though. You should pick up some Esteban or some shit lol.dayton microphone (Dayton Audio EMM-6 Electret Measurement Microphone Allows For Accurate Acoustic Measurements At A Fraction Of The Price 390-801)and ****** windows sound recorder
How does it sound?
I like the midbass and highs in that song. I'll get some esteban for you another time... lolI mean what I can tell from my POS laptop speakers it sounds good compared to the original. Sounds well-presented. Clarity is definitely great...if anything I'd say there's a slight push in the mids but that could be from the codec rather than the actual environment.I like the midbass and highs in that song. I'll get some esteban for you another time... lol
Good reverb qualities on the guitar solo...just picked up on that. See? Needed the reverb, huh?And thank you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI think I am going to leave the eq flat for a while.
Yes thats not throught the optical... Hopefully vamp wire kills that f'ing hiss.Sounds well-presented. Clarity is definitely great...if anything I'd say there's a slight push in the mids but that could be from the codec rather than the actual environment.
On another note, I heard the dreaded low-level hiss in mine. Figure I'll try not to care about it for a while since I won't hear it on the road anyway, but looks like I'll have to be getting better RCAs. Damn you, KnuKonceptz!
lol.. the reverb in moderation is ok.Sounds well-presented. Clarity is definitely great...if anything I'd say there's a slight push in the mids but that could be from the codec rather than the actual environment.

Definitely...not saying it needs to sound like singing in the shower, but you just have to think of how that nylon makes its sound...through the wood...which needs an ability to resonate.lol.. the reverb in moderation is ok.
It sounds good to me. And like I said, there's only a certain amount you can tell unless you're actually there. But dude, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters right? And thank you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI think I am going to leave the eq flat for a while.
Cleaning things up may help. I know it sounds crazy but if you tie the rca's to the ground wire from your amps. It can sometimes help a bit.I'm sure it will. Like I said, it's far removed from my list of priorities. First, I'll try going in behind the HU and cleaning things up. It's a clusterfuck back there ATM.
You are correct. It's a long and drawnout process. It sounds good to me. And like I said, there's only a certain amount you can tell unless you're actually there. But dude, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters right?
Plus the more I listen to, in general, the more I find out can't find things wrong unless I can play with an EQ and manually center each frequency by ear to me.
You mean like wrapping the whole sheath around the ground wire?Cleaning things up may help. I know it sounds crazy but if you tie the rca's to the ground wire from your amps. It can sometimes help a bit.
Also try running the rca's from different sides of the vehicle and try to position them in different ways in the dash.
That's what I was like with guitars a couple years ago. Trying as many different strings, pickups, sets of preamp and power tubes as I could on the couple guitars and the tube amp I have. You are correct. It's a long and drawnout process.
