thanks! your all dickheads! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

edit: not directed at you twistid

but seriously anyone have any idea why my fuse blew like that... is it becuase my amp was still hooked up??

when i took out my circuit breaker to put htis fuse holder in, nothing was changed so im 100% nothing like randomly shorted out on bare metal or something

Ouch. Power in the ground and ground in the power is perhaps the dumbest and most destructive mistake you can make. Your amp is toast. No one will pay that much for it, because chances are you fried quite a few of the components inside the amp.

If I were you, I'd take that guy up on the offer to fix it.

yeah i plugged it in and it was fried it started smoking and acutally went up in about a 3 foot green flame it was nuts-o it looks like a bomb hit it... anyone want it?? ill sell it for parts i guess if any are left

well it started sparking and i let it continue sparking for a good 3-5 minutes not reallly sure, then i realized that sparking could be bad

but yeah about half of my amp is GONE cuz it just burned away basically

LOL. I love the sarcasm. You could cut the guys who are messing with you a little slack though. The way you're acting won't help you out with those guys.

Inline probably popped just because you had the amp on. You used it like a switch and it just isn't designed for that. I'm not for sure, but don't freak out too much about it. Go buy another one from some car shop (zone, advance, napa, etc.) The ANL is going to have to be purchased from a car audio shop or offline.

yeah just a little pissed off that i made a mistake like this and ppl are such jackasses that they tell me taht my amp is fried and ruined adn what not (i believed them) and not one person could just say that my fuse was blown and it would cost about 5 dollars to replace...

everything is fixed and working, i did a big 2 in teh hood (didnt do block to chassis) added my new battery, re-did all of my connections and added another fuse after my second battery

everything looks super clean now, and my voltage never drops below 13.7ish

i also properly set my gains and finaly im feeling some of the power my 15L7 can give

thanks to those who acutally tried to help
