Possible Solutions (Small Sealed) Camaro Install

Hey again fellas,

I am just trying trying to gather a list of all respectable 12 inch subwoofers that are designed to work very well in 1cf of volume (in a sealed enclosure).

Name any/all you'd recommend. As of now, temporarily, I have a pair of TC1000s in a 1cf enclosure (that are geared towards a ported enclosure, which I had them in on my last set up in my truck, they sounded awesome. Now, sealed to 1cf, they are freaking terrible. Most of you read my thread about that.

As of right now the only two 12 inch subwoofer that fit this enclosure well are:

DIYMA Reference 12

ID IDQv2.

By the way, I have 1200 watts available at a 2 ohm load. (Mmats D1500.2)

Both of these subs seem to be geared towards 100 percent SQ, which is fine. I've always has sealed enclosures built around SQ, but I am not gonna lie, my first ported enclosure with the two TC1000s was amazing. They sounded amazing on rock/metal (80 percent what I listen to) and got loud on rap and electronica (which I don't listen to for SQ, so it worked out.)

I like the price of the DIYMAs, however I am really not liking their quality issues and the fact that over 25 percent of these subs end up blowing the cone in half :/

I heard the IDQv3 may be coming out soon?

an SQL set up would be awesome, if not, I'll gear it towards 90 percent SQ set up.

Polk MOMO 12 only needs 0.9-1.0cf sealed and they sound pretty decent, imo.

look in to JL woofers also like the 12w3v3 they can go in small enclosures.

even the W6's can surprise you in a really small enclosure.

x2. The w3's work really nice in about 1cube sealed and can be had fairly cheap.

I've narrowed it down to the IDQ and the Dayton HO. Both seemed to be 100 percent SQ oriented, which is fine.

Any SQL options out there?

Nismos is selling a round kicker solo that would be great in that car. I know because my friend a couple years back had a camaro with the same setup and it was awesome.

why only 1cuft? Im sure the Camaro's cargo area can house more woofage than that.. My GF's ***** am has 2 DD 510's in 3cuft ported.. the box was built by a local installer for $80 covered... and those 2 510's SLAMMM on her Hifonics 1606D at 2ohms

I have a PG Ti12D Elite, that would work great in a small sealed enclosure for SQL.
