probably use a higher grade resin to smooth out the surfaceYeah.. i was wondering how you were going to go about painting that plastic. I don't like the look of the plastic, but I can't say for certain that I'd like the look of it painted though.
I've never seen an avalanche with the plastic painted to match the body color, but I'm sure it has the potential to look nice. Just make sure you know what you're doing before you go and paint that thing lol.
I like the slightly darker on everything that's grey.. that would stand out and look great man, slightly two-toned would look real nice. Like a little bit darker than royal blue would look sick man.probably use a higher grade resin to smooth out the surface
prep for primer
color match the paint or possibly go slightly darker blue on everything thats gray to make it stand out more
maybe even match the interior color and keep it 2 tone
who knows
paint
sand smooth
then wet sand with 500+ grit
i always used to hate avalanchesI have a friend that has one we put a couple of DD 12's in the ski port on an old school Orion Pro HCCA 2400 the beast and it hammers.....They look good with 24's on them also....
i can almost garauntee that truck doesnt get that kinda mileage. when you test drive it look at the fuel economy/ instant economy. Youre probably lookin in the 13 range. remember thats a 4WD V8 that weighs close to 6000lbs.gets about the same as the rangeraround 17 city
