Possible FI Q Setup

Hey everybody. This is my first post! Getting down to business, I have limited funds so I will be buying parts individually over the course of the next month.

My car is a Dodge Neon 95' for now, although I will probably end up with something like a Ford Ranger or Toyota Tundra. Keep in mind that I'm not some kind of SPL freak and I don't want to blow my ears off. I just want something that can get loud, sounds clean and smooth... I am more of a casual listener though. I listen to a lot of rap for the beats, and rock such as the Chili Peppers.

I've been looking at the FI Q 12". Is this going to be too much? Would a 10" be better? What about the SSD's?

As for an amp... I have no idea. Any help here? I'm looking for the best bang for my buck... but something cheap as well. Same with the box... I guess my friend and I could construct one. He's done them before.

I really want to keep this under $350-400. As you can tell, I'm a complete noob when it comes to this stuff. If anybody has any other suggestions on setting up a nice system, feel free.

Good luck with that price. Just the Fi sub will run you 250 plus.

I suggest wait a little longer for the new Mag. It looks succulent.

Not for the box, I'd end up making my own... Whats a decent amp to power that sub? Could I get an RE SE instead, to lower the sub price?
