Possible box building business. [make some money]

Three days ago I had purchased enclosure plans from a fellow ca member for $6 paypal. I got to thinking. Why not start a site to sell plans. I figure at $10 a piece, even $5 if need be, I could make a little money on the side. If I do decide to get something up and running, It would probably be a cheap domain hoster for around $6 a month. I could design the site myself. And maybe assemble a team of 5 or so to make the plans. Well, a few people to make them and a few to make a 3-D layout. The pay rate would be divided evenly between the team. Say I assembled a team of 5. Me being the sixth person. And we made 10 plans that week. $100 divided by six persons is roughly $17 a piece.
It does not take 5 people to design a box. However this way someone is always available. The pay rate could even be so that the person that designs the box and person that makes the image are payed per plan. So more money would be made to whomever designs it. We could promise the customer that they will recieve the plans within 24 or 12hrs via email. Or we could even print and ship the plans.

The only reason this came to mind is that after I had just recently purchased plans, I had about six or seven friends ask for plans so they could make new boxes. Just a crazy thought.

Any input is appreciated. And anyone who can design plans or make a 3-D image of the plans and would want to participate should let me know via PM.

I think i'm honestly going to give this a go. A team of SIX is needed. Seven counting myself. Two persons to build the boxes if the customer can't build them theirselves. NOTE: These have to be near perfect. Carpeted. Straight edges. Flush. The whole works. These two people need to have a good place to work, be able to ship these heavy things out, and have a fair amount of free time. Also, all supplies must be bought by you. It will not come out of your pocket. It will come out of everyone's salary for now.

Two box designers. Front port. Back port. Bottom port. Top port. Sealed. Bandpass. Everything. And they will most likely need to be tuned also. Figure out the dimensions.

Two graphics designers. Persons who can make 3-D images of the boxes. Not too hard.

As for pay, I'm changing it around. Including the prices.

BOXES:

$80 per ported enclosure. This does NOT include materials and shipping fee's.

$50 per sealed enclosure. Once again does NOT include materials and shipping fee's.

Customer can chose to have it built to their specs, or specs that they purchased from us. Also, they can choose to have us make the box based on our best judgement for SPL or SQ.

PAY:

$60 per ported.

$35 per sealed.

PLANS:

$10 for the dimensions on the box. Customer can choose the ft^3 and tuning. Or once again go on our best judgement.

$15 for the dimensions and a 3-D layout.

PAY:

$6 to design the box, and figure the dimensions.

$5 to make the 3-D layout.

In order to START the site, I will need the full team. This consists of:

(4) Enclosure Builders.

(2) Enclosure designers.

(2) Graphics Designers.

*I will be included in the enclosure builders.

Guidelines:

BOXES:

1 1/2" DRYWALL SCREWS for enclosures consisting of 3/4" MDF.

3" DRYWALL SCREWS for enclosures consisting of 2 sheets of MDF glued together making each board 1 1/2"

ALL Screws will be measured equal distance apart from the insides of the wood.

ALL encloures will be fabricated with fabric provided by myself.

ALL screws will be glued in.

A caulking will be used to airtighten all "cracks" of the box.

How are these revisions?

ALL WORKERS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND LIVE IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES!

This is all very flexible. So any suggestions are welcome. I'm iffy on the pay. If anyone has a better idea feel free to let me know.

Lastly, a domain name and a name for us to work under.

I thought about building them, however they have to be pretty much perfect. Almost look like the store bought ones. And shipping is horrible.

im really shocked you actually had to pay for it. post up a thread on here asking for plans and usually someone thats bored will make some up for you.

The prouducts:

Boxes: $60 plus cost of supplies and shipping.

Plans: $10 per design. Customer can request a tuning or we can build one that we think be best. They will need to give us the maximum space alloted. Also if they want it mainly for SPL or SQ.

Banners: Hells yes were getting window banners. I have an uncle who can make them CHEAP. He owns his own business. These are going to sell for $15 a piece.

PAY:

Did you design the box? 30% goes to you. The rest is split between the rest of us.

Same goes for graphics.

30% of banners goes to myself. The rest is split.

10% of ALL sales goes to banner supplies, and to maintain the web site. All remains of this money will be stored in the "bank." In otherwords the money will be stored to be used for more supplies, expanding, ect. Once business gets better, this will most likely be reduced to 5%.
