possible BassRace SPL car

Im trying to get together a bunch of people to make a bassrace car. So for i got 5 people putting in 500 each. 2marrow my friend and i are going around to all the local audio shops and see if any of then will sponsor us. So far i came up w/ this

Car: Honda CRX

Subs: 2 18" BTL's Fully loaded

Amps: 4 Sundown SAZ-1500d's each pair strapped @ 1.4 ohms

or

2 Autotek MM4000.1D's

Head Unit: Not sure yet. Probably just something cheap and simple that will do the job good.

Batteries: 2 kinetic 2400's

Alt: 300 amp

Wire: Multiple 1/0 or bigger runs

Box: Either a wall right behind the front seats or a bigass crx style ported box(20 cf)

Misc: Lots of mdf and concrete.

Meter: Term lab usb

Im looking for suggestions on how i could improve. Right now its budgeted around $6000

Dont expect help from shops unless you have credentials, and have won alot of shows/Finals. Everyone starts somewhere, and starting takes cash. As for a bass race car. No real need to wall off a CRX...I would shoot for the 130.0-139.9 class and run 2 12s or 1 12 in the back of the rex.

sounds good but that set-up sounds like it will cost more then 2500. Also if your going to a shop looking for sponsors then you can forget about trying to run your own thought out set-up since shops will only hook you up if you buy thier products, i mean come on if i sold Kicker products then why would i sposor a car that ran Fi subs and autotek amps that were not bought from my shop? on and dont do a wall in a rex(no need)

i know its alot more than 2500 but theres alot of rich kids in my school who would probably like to help. So far its only my like 3 best friends and my bro. And also do you think 2 15's would be better. I know chevy suggested 2 12's but id like to try and aim for the 140-149.9 class.

there is alot of blood sweat and tears that go into a wall..more effort then just building a box w/subs up and port back(alot of rexs run like that) and why 18s?

you can hit 150 all day with 2 10s in a rex off music

2 10s is all you will need...or 1 12" if you are going to use a BTL
