ok i was just looking at amps and i see that Viper D2500.1's are only like 300 bucks. And if i strapped 2 of them @ 4 ohms i could get around 5000 watts. I know their no where near the quality of any other amps i mentioned but there a hell of alot cheaper and if im trying to keep the # involved down thats a big plus. Only problem is that the coils arent really dual 2 so each would be seeing a 1.5 load which is below recomended.

and PEsteele...Stay with the Rex get 2 12s and be done with it...Big woofers dont necessarily mean big score...Belive me a wall is no small task..start small, get a Rex, and build a ported box for 2 12s.

You will be fine at 1.4 ohms. It will rise and bring you closer to 2.

2 12's will be a hell of alot more expensive though. Cause i would need another 500 for subs and then like anoter 1000 on more bats and amps

I understand that...In a rex with strong 10s its not all that difficult. Hell if you cant break a 50 in a rex, you really dont diserve to be in this sport. Sorry if you took my post as a bash at you. And yes I understand Bass Race insnt Streetbeat. Scores tend to be alittle higher in SB, bceause you can start the music before the mic starts.

i agree with you on the 150, i have just found bassrace more difficult then i imagined.

i remember my first show.... the van was doing over a 154 @ 44hz, didn't break a 148 w/ a killer song and a perfect start.

Terry Jackson (blue200sx on the forum) had a CRX for sale that he has been running in DB Drag Street B. I think it already has a strong electrical and like 8 runs of 1/0 in it. He was also selling some Memphis 4000Ds. Might want to check with him.
