hey guys. havent posted on here for awhile. just thought id ask everybody out there a simple question i need an answer to...

so i have a 2001 pontiac montana that i use to drive for work. alts factory, all factory wiring. nothing special.

i decided to put a temporary system in it so i could bump on my way to work

i have a jvc kd-g140, pyramid PB717x arctic series, pioneer ts-w302r in a pre fab enclosure.

im running true 10 gauge for my power and ground wire

so far i have had no problems with it other than some headlight dimmage.

my dad thinks that this puny system will put stress on the alternator. is this possible?

thats exactly what i thought... just a little bit of dimming isnt a very bad thing
