okay, I've decided to run three RE-8's in the back of my ext cab truck.

they will basically be aiming up with a loading panel approx. 2.5" above them.

the enclosure is 61.75" wide and 14" deep and right now,I think I can fit all 3 on the left side of the enclosure, which would give me the right side for the port.

with my tuning and port area, I figured my port has to be 30-45" long.

the only way I can find to run this is to have the port turn and go straight towards the three sub's magnets on the inside.

How badly will that effect the performance having the 30sq. inches of port right by the subs, whle the majority of the airspace is on the other side of the port opening?

I almost cannot at all make the port pull a u-turn half way and still pull even 25sq. inches of port.

so basically the enclosure is like [from right to left]

2/3 of airspace , port opening, subs,1/3 of total airspace

the shape is roughly 62" wide, 14" deep 8" high but the contour of the bottom (which was fiberglassed) gets in the way of making a U-turn port)

thanks for the time and help/suggestions

p.s. we had planned on making the ports out of fiberglass also. If not then mdf I guess.
