Porter Cable Router

Ive seen alot of very good box builders using this router and alot of people talk about it. Is it really a good router? What makes it so much better thna all the other routers out there? Im looking to buy a router and wanting some input.

Porter Cables are great. They get up to speed very fast, they last along time and when it is under load it does not bind and chatter like cheaper routers. I'm about to buy their 3HP plunge router.

i'm about to grab a Porter Cable up as well....i like my Craftsman as well but the quality of the PC is hard to beat

looks ok for a fixed base. fixed base are a pain to cut holes with. I have been doing lately because I am down to a fixed only. I have to drill a pilot then use downcut spiral bits and cut in one pass. At least that way the dust shoots into the hole not all over the floor. I am on the lookout for a garage sale plunge.
