95 Civic: Can I get louder outta the trunk?

Alright well right now I have my 2 15" immortals, (old school ones, one reconed by FI).. and as it sits I do a 147.3 at 50hz on a junk mic with the subs firing up under my rear deck, and the ports to the one side.

Currently I only have 1 2000d Soundstream, used to have two, but what I can do to make it louder? Was almost considering sealing off the trunk and only using one, with 2000 on it and fire it into the cabin. Otherwise Im not sure because of the space issues..

Any suggestions?

build the box in the trunk with the subs and the port facing into the cabin and make sure it is sealed from the back of the trunk so no air escapes. You should also deaden your car. That gained me 2 db alone.

2 subs! cone displacement can not be over come by power (in your case) do as other said - fire both ports and subs into cabin, seal it off from trunck, i would look at your power supply, what kind of upgrades have been done to electricall? big 3? add battery, upgrade alt, also depends on voltage output of radio may want to run a line driver, increase input voltage drop gain on amp give it a little more head room.

you might have a hard time getting both 15's facing forward in to cabin sealed off with port facing forward.I have a 98 civic and i can put both 15's facing forward but no room for port unless its aeros but still wont be enough you could do both subs facing forward and do aeros out of rear deck where stock rears are and face them up then seal it.That should def work

well i run a trunk car but **** man this is so far from what i do to get mine loud lol. you could fire the subs back port to the side. on that design an 2000 watts or well a hifonics 2008 i was doing a 142 on music. would love to have both in to see what it does on the meter an will find out this weekend for sure what it does.

but yea i would say try subs back an port to the side.

The only problem I have is the box I have in there is touching the back of my trunk and **** near touches my back seat so I don't know if firing back will help.. And my wheel wells touch the sides where my port would go.. I'm not sure .. I don't know if my box should be any smaller than it is to use that design...
