i am making a wedge box and was wondering if ports are an option? i would have to do aero ports cause im already almost done with it, but was wondering if i could put some in and it be descent? the box is 16" high 48" wide 7" top depth and 3" top depth

wouldnt fit at the top, im am gunna have either 3 or 4 RE8's. with the aero ports i can always put them in late right? just gotta make a hole and slid em in?

the design and shape of your box will be dependant. You need to build the box to be able to fit the aero ports. I am certain you are going to have to do some bends to get them to fit in the box and around the woofers. If you build the box and then expect that you can just slide them in, you will for sure have dome trouble.

that box is far too small to do 4 8's ported anyway. a single 10 could be an option, but port displacement and sub displacement will probably bring volume down too much. a single 12 sealed would work. 4 8's sealed would probably work, but there's limited air space for 4. 3 would be better, but ohm load could pose a problem there. 2 shallow mount 12's would work ported. i know the pioneers only need .65 per 12. 2 ported 8's would sound fine too. you have alot of options, but choking a big sub in a small box will sound worse than a smaller sub in a proper box. IMHO.
