1 4" aero port for 2 8" subs?

Im getting ready to build 2 boxes. One will hold 2 8" DD 1508 and they other will have 2 8" Sound Splinter. I just wanted to make sure that a 4" aero port would be sufficient enough for them. The boxes will be around 1.5-2 cubes.

it is a little low on port area. having actual flared aero's would probably be ok. not enough if using unflared pvc

i used 4" regular pvc with no flared ends and it sounded pretty good. Not sure if it was enough port area or not but didn't get any port noise

I'd go with the aero port though if i were to do it again

you'll need at least 2 4" for a 1.5 box....

I get by with (2) 3'' aeros in my 1.6 cube enclosure but if I had the space I would have most definitely done (3) 3'' or (2) 4'' instead.

Hmmm...... OK. I will be using true aero ports. I'll see if I have enough room. Other wise I'll have to redesign the boxes.
