Since I have not sold these subs yet, I figured I will make a box for them to see how they act in a more SPL oriented box.

I will switch them both to 2 ohms and run them @ 1 ohm on my Sony amp.

I have spec'd out a ported box that is 4 cubes @ 34hz. I was considering 4th order as well, but do not think I will have the room to properly build that box. And I feel like the ported will give me a better frequency range.

The following are the specs I have drawn up. I don't have a PC so I am unable to check these through some of the better box calculators. I am going to try to fit box back, port back, but may end up doing subs back, port side.

The box dims are 32 wide, 14 high, 26 deep. Total volume of 5.41 cubes.

The port will be 5 wide, 12.5 high, 30 long. Total volume of 1.25 cubes. And 62.5 sq inches of port.

This leaves me with 4.16 cubes internal volume before sub displacement. I haven't spec'd a box in a while. Anyway willing to double check these numbers? I appreciate the help in advance.

Just a thought...I am in Chandler and have a 4ft3 net 48in2 tuned to 32hz for sale cheap... Has sweet sound mechanix heavy terminals and is wired with sky high 8ga wire... IDK if building it yourself is paramount but this box is well built for 2 Skar EVL-12's... http://i.imgur.com/unbgeBg.jpg ... It has never seen carpet... PM me if interested... That's a fine box. I appreciate the offer but the box is a bit too wide :/
