My custom TC9 should be arriving today, only I dont have a box and the local audio shops have all chitty boxes. So Im considering attempting a ported box. My dad has done construction, house building, bridge building for over 30 years now, so Im sure with the help of him it can be accomplished. Im looking around 1.8-2.5ft tuned to 33hz.. thats what Dave (TeamPSI) recommends for these subs. The box will be going in the back of a GAGT and the current dual 12" box is 32 inches long, 15 inches tall and 14 inches wide.. It fights perfectly in my car, so would that work nicely with the same dimensions as the current dual 12 with a single 15 ported? Thanks alot,

Rob

Congrats on the sub! I would definately look into spending $10-$20 to have someone design you a box, and then build it yourself. There are pleanty of people on this forum that have great reviews on their box plans that could help you out. Just make sure to get the T/S parameters so they will have everything they need to work with.

Well in my Grandam GT.. the trunk is weird.. the box i have goes all the way foward in the trunk til it hits the seat edge. It is a completely PERFECT fit. Any larger it would look stupid cause it wouldnt go all the way forward and there would be a giant gap there. Anyone who can build me a design that would be great. PM me with a price. Thanks
