ON their website they say to use a 2.0 cube box at 40 hz , 30 inches of port 16" long , is that the best tuning for the sub ? i'd like to get as much SQ from this driver as i can while keeping it loud

they reccomend 40 for " high efficiency" but that might just be fore SPL applications i think , should i keep the box at 2.0 cubes ? it'll be getting 400 rms

yea just keep the box at 2.0 cubes, you could even go a slight been smaller if you want.
