Ported box shape questions

I have not been able to find out any info on this so far, if I missed a thread please post a link so I can read it. All ported boxes that I have saw have been cubed. Is it possible (with same SQ) to use a slanted back? Assuming port size is correct, would it matter if the slot port was on the side or underneath the sub? Thanks for any help.

Yeah You can have a wedge shaped box, I forgot the equation to find airspace, but its still possible. Usually you can have the port going on the side of the box. But like I said you can pay someone to design you a slanted ported box, and the sq would be the same as a cubed or rectangle, or octogon shaped box as long as the airspace and the tuning is correct.
