Ported box for type R's

Okay, this kid I'm helpin' out needs advice, and since I'm a SQ'er, my ported knowledge only goes so far.

Basically he is going to be running 2 type r dvc4's on a hifonics bxi 1608.

He wants to know the best size box and tuned to what for daily listening. Probably rap since he keeps talking about shaking his windows??? And maybe some 80's rock.

You guys got anything. Or is this somethin that I can search and find a definitive answer?

Factory Specs (Maybe a little bigger) @ 38 IMO.

That's what I always tell people who come to me with type ARRRGH's.

But if he doesn't care about SQ at all, tune it to 40.

Yeah, I was thinking factory specs, But curious about tuning.
