Ported box for the Arrrrgghhs!

Finally decided to ditch the sealed box that was making my type r's sound like poo. The box is about 4 cubic feet total, and tuned to 35 hertz. Anyways, here is what i have done so far.

Everyone here said that this would make my arrrrgggghhhs shine, so they better get loud.

Still got a while to go, but should get plenty done tomorrow.

I'm not sure what to think. I can't really tell a difference in the amount of lows, or SPL.

i also haven't heard my system in 8 days, so i don't remember exactly how loud it was before.
