Ported box for SSA DCON 10 Questions

I haven't built a box for a while, and in most cases I've built sealed boxes. I really want to go with a ported box for the DCON, all the reviews seem to lean towards this sub sounding great in a ported box.

I've gone through the how to sticky on calculating port length, so I have that now, as well as the dimensions of the enclosure. This has left me with 2 questions:

1. Can someone look over my #'s and make sure they look right, and:

2. How do I actually translate the port length into the box, lol

The dimensions:

34.5"W x 11.5"H x 11.5"D Just a rectangular box. Port size is 10" x 2", and the calculator gave me a port length of 48". This should leave me with roughly 1 cube for the sub, a port displacement of 1.31 cubes, and a total internal volume of 2.41 cubes. Tuned to 33hz

These are my extremely rough ms paint drawings, lol. Can someone tell me if I'm headed in the right direction here?

Here is how I would do it:

I see you are over in Omaha, so if you need someone to build this for you im a few hours east in Cedar Rapids. I could have this build for right around 100 bucks.

Let me know what you think.
