Would it be possible to put an FI BTL in a ported box with the max dimensions of 40"wide 25"deep and 16" high. I want to mount the woofer like this

because my box can only be a maximum of 16" high. Does anyone think it's possible?!?! And if you do can you send me a rough sketch of the box design!! Thx : )
Well, Fi states a recommended enclosure of 5 cf net and you got 7.60 cf to work with, so you can do it, all you need to tell me is port tuning, how many watts for the subwoofer, how much port area for the port and if you got them, the spec sheet with all the t/s parameters.

Fi audio has no t/s spec's for your sub on their website.

Heres the specs for the BTL 18

I would like the box to be tuned to 38 hz. Do you think thats a good tuning??

Im going to be powering the woofer with approximately 2200-2500 watts rms

You have roughly 50 liters total, which will probably work with that sub.
