Ported box for a DCON 12?

Hey guys I have 12" DCON with a mbquart 400 rms

I have it in a sealed box but I think it's a little too small. I want it to get louder so I'm looking to get a ported box

Can anyone recommend me some boxes like on eBay or something because I don't know what size of hole to get and stuff like that

Dude just contact sound solutions audio. They know their stuff and are fast to reply to emails. I don't recall dimensions but I think it's pretty big.

I wouldnt suggest any prefab enclosure. Having one custom built is a better option.

I agree with Pro-Rabbit.......Getting a custom enclosure is going to be a way better option...There are numerous builders on this forum with a range of talent and pricing......

No problem, you can always contact SSA and see what they suggest for enclosures and such. I'm sure Aaron or Mark would be glad to help you out and point you in the best direction for your application.

do you recommend me buying from @double 07 on here or should i get the recommended from SSA and take it to my local audio shop and get it done there? whats cheaper / easier to do? im thinking just to take it to my local subwoofer shop and doing it there because i know if i try to build it myself ill prob just screw up, no experience with this kind of stuff

Our prices are listed on this and the SSA forum. All prices are shipped as well. We are also the only enclosure company(or private builder) that packages with in the guidelines of any/all logistics company to ensure insurance covered.

We have downloadable 3D enclosure designs that people have used many times and have taken them to customer builders. Personally, I know we have a number of people use DC Creations (pro-rabbit) with positive feedback on the end result of our driver in a DC build enclosure.
